Case Study: A President and His Cakes
Some boys have dogs. Some men have best friends. But Presidents, Presidents have cake. Eisenhower must have been tough to get through WWII, but he’s sweet enough to be eating cake almost constantly, as shown in the following photo essay. Nixon was often annoyed at having to compete with cake for the President’s attention, and advisers found him unable to pay attention to briefs if there was so much as a pastry in the room. History never ceases to amaze us, and this essay certainly gives a different perspective on the President known as Ike. Michelle Obama’s vegetable garden has him turning in his honorable grave.
